Responsibilities include case finding, assessment of patients, discharge planning and counseling patients and their families.

REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 Years clinical experience as a Social Worker strongly preferred
- 1 year experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Experience in crisis intervention
- LMSW/LCSW within 1 year of employment Required
- Certification required within one year of employment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment

SOUTH BEACH PSYCHIATRIC CENTER has positions for:

Full-time, Part-time, In-patient (on 2 units Main Campus Staten Island), and Out-patient (in 2 OPDs in Brooklyn) Adult Psychiatrists (including openings for bilingual Psychiatrists to care for our special monolingual Latino and Chinese populations).
BE/BC. No mandatory on-call but off-tour work available for extra pay. In-patient services are located in Staten Island and out-patient services in both Staten Island and Brooklyn. South Beach fosters creativity, evidence-based practices, and an atmosphere in which our physicians can provide their best to our consumers. Please note present openings represent less that 10% of our positions as we have low turnover.
