A full-time psychotherapist position is available for a bi-lingual Chinese-speaking LM/LCSW in a dynamic Mental Health Clinic. The clinic is part of a growing Department of Psychiatry and Addiction Services that is itself part of an expanding Behavioral Health Network.
The position requires initial interviewing and individual, couple, family, and small group psychotherapy skills. Individual and group supervision is available along with ongoing educational activities.
The hours are flexible from Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
The salary is commensurate with post-license experience. Full 1199 benefits are available, too. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and motivated behavioral health clinician.

Visiting Nursing Service of New York TimeBank Associate

This is a unique opportunity for someone interested in helping to expand a cutting edge model of community building called TimeBanking. Work with community members of all ages on the Lower East Side/Chinatown of Manhattan and in Sunset Park, Brooklyn promoting a program of neighbors helping neighbors. For every hour of service contributed, participants bank one hour that can be redeemed for a variety of services from other members in the TimeBank.
Responsibilities:
Assist in recruiting, screening, orienting and managing TimeBank program participants. Market program and organize recruitment activities. Identify and nurture site team leaders who assist in management of their neighborhood TimeBank. Plan, organize and coordinate special activities. Some evening and weekend work required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience (paid or unpaid) in community organizing. Computer proficiency required. Ability to work independently, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and creativity required. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese required. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills required. Must be able to work as team player and be results oriented.
Education
College degree preferred.
